At I Move For Hal, our scholarship program is a meaningful extension of our mission as an MS Non Profit—investing in the next generation while continuing to raise MS Awareness and honor Hal’s legacy of giving back. These scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service, kindness, and making a difference in the lives of others.
The I Move For Hal Scholarship was created to recognize high school students who embody the same values Hal lived by every day. Applicants are encouraged to show their dedication to volunteerism, with a minimum of 40 service hours completed throughout their high school years. The goal is simple: to support students who lead with compassion and take action within their communities.
Each year, multiple scholarships are awarded to deserving students, helping them take the next step in their educational journey. What started as a single scholarship has grown into an ongoing effort to give back, thanks to the support of our community and fundraising efforts like our annual events. As an MS Research Charity, we believe that empowering young people is just as important as raising awareness—because they are the future of change.
