- Includes a realistic project budget and timeline
- Can provide measurable outcomes and long-term community benefit
What You'll Need
To help complete your Grant Application, we recommend having the following information ready before you begin:
- Organization and contact information
- EIN or fiscal sponsor information
- Project description
- Community impact statement
- Project timeline
- Budget and funding request
- Proof of nonprofit status
- Supporting documents such as budgets, quotes, letters of support, or photos
Having these materials prepared will make the application process quick and convenient.
Our Application Process
Applying is easy with our guided online application.
1. Confirm Eligibility
Tell us about your organization and confirm your nonprofit status or fiscal sponsorship.
2. Share Your Story
Describe your project, the community need it addresses, and who will benefit from your work.
3. Build Your Budget
Provide your project budget, funding request, and supporting documentation.
4. Submit Your Application
Review your information, certify your application, and submit it online.
After submission, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and our Board will carefully review your request. Applicants are generally notified of funding decisions within approximately 60 days.

The St. Johns Area Community Fund supports nonprofit organizations, initiatives, programs, and projects that improve the quality of life in the St. Johns community.
Grant requests should demonstrate a clear local need and explain how the proposed project will create a positive and lasting impact for people in the St. Johns area.
